Beverly was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. She graduated magna cum laude from Loyola University. Beverly attended Loyola School of Law at night while working as an antitrust investigator for the Office of the Louisiana Attorney General. Following graduation from law school she worked as a law clerk to the Honorable Pascal F. Calogero, Jr. of the Louisiana Supreme Court.
After completing her clerkship, Beverly entered privaate practice and has handled insurance defense cases, banking, succession and trust litigation, class action suits, product liability cases, business litigation, and environmental and toxic tort liability cases.
Beverly is admitted to practice before all Louisiana state courts, United States District Courts for the Eastern, Middle, and Western Districts of Louisiana, The United States Court of Appeals Fifth Circuit, The United States Tax Court and the United States Supreme Court.
