Ted Haas is engaged in general admiralty and maritime trial and appellate practice concentrating in personal injury and wrongful death defense, oilfield contract negotiations, hull and machinery issues, limitation of liability, insurance coverage issues, stevedore operations and liability, recreational and fishing vessel liability, marina operations and liability, salvage, average adjusting, maritime product liability, collisions, fires, explosions, LHWCA and state workmen's compensation defense and coverage, and U.S. Coast Guard, OSHA and Social Security administrative hearings and regulations. He has broad experience in marine and land based insurance coverage, pollution exclusions, agent/broker liability and errors and omissions cases. He has defended product liability claims against a wide range of industrial and commercial equipment manufacturers and medical device manufacturers. He has defended medical malpractice claims against physician and facility medical care providers. He has defended product liability and "Lemon Law" and other warranty claims against vehicle manufacturers. He has received an AV Preeminent Rating from Martindale-Hubbell, the highest possible rating in both legal ability and ethical standards.
