Our insurance practice includes the representation of commercial insurers, Writer Your Own flood (“WYO”) insurers participating in the National Flood Insurance Program, homeowners’ insurers, automobile insurers, condominium insurers, insurance adjusters, insurance agents, and surplus lines insurers. We assist our clients in both claims handling and in litigation defense. We assist our clients with a variety of services, including improving claims handling documentation, improving policies and procedures, detecting insurance fraud, evaluating coverage issues, conducting Examinations Under Oath (pursuant to the applicable policy), providing advice on whether to invoke appraisal (pursuant to the applicable policy), assisting in the evaluation and settlement of claims, mediations, and litigation defense related matters.
