The firm is proud to sponsor the upcoming Annual Regional Convention of the National Black Law Students Association (NBLSA). The nonprofit NBSLA was formed in 1968 to respond to the need for continued educational encouragement, professional development and community enrichment for Black law students. The Southwest Region of the NBLSA is conducting its Annual Convention in New Orleans this year from January 11-15, and as part of the convention, 32 law school students will be participating in Mock Trial and Moot Court competitions. As part of its sponsorship of the convention, Pugh Accardo is hosting the initial “meet and greet” of students, faculty and judges who will be attending the Convention and participating in the Mock Trial and Moot Court competitions. The “meet and greet” will be held at the firm’s New Orleans office on January 11 from 6pm to 8pm. Various members of the firm will also be acting as judges for the competitions.
